In this talk, media and performance artists allapopp and Janne Kummer, also known as alaska, shared insights about their recent project "The House of Monstress Intelligenzia" (HAU Berlin, FFT Düsseldorf). The project aimed to create a space for joint reflection on how a glitchy, queer-feminist AI could function, look, and feel. It was an attempt to make glitches - supposed errors in this system - the basis for the development of an alternative, queer-feminist AI.

allapopp (no pronouns) works at the intersection of live performance, digital media, and music. alla’s work concentrates on tech-positive visions of the future and queer-feminist perspectives on digital technology. alla is part of BBB_ and the dgtlfmnsm collective.
Janne Kummer aka. alaska (they/them) work with hybrid media, between performance and digital art. They teach, do research, and work on the influence of digital technology on the (re)presentation and perception of bodies and on the development of queer-feminist future narratives.

The talk took place on Thursday, November 10 pm at the University of Arts and Design Offenbach.

Correlations Forum, an interdisciplinary event, provided a platform for dialogue on AI in art and design. Through lectures, workshops, and exhibitions, participants engaged with intelligent systems in creative contexts, exploring their impact on society. The next forum is scheduled for November 2024, organized by KITeGG, a research project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. Visit correlationsforum.de for more details.
