We had the honor to welcome Björn Ommer to an online Talk where he talked about recent breakthroughs in artificial intelligence that sparked a revolution in computer-based image generation and editing.

Björn Ommer is a full professor at the University of Munich where he is heading the Machine Vision and Learning Group. Before he was a full professor in the department of mathematics and computer science at Heidelberg University. He received his diploma in computer science from University of Bonn and his PhD from ETH Zurich.

Correlations Forum is held by KITeGG, a 4-year research project on AI in Art and Design. KITeGG is a joint project of five universities and is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
